Start Simple with MyPlate
I was hired by Six Overground, a boutique digital agency based out of Asbury Park in a white label capacity to handle application design for the USDA’s new lifestyle app Start Simple with MyPlate. Working off of an established logo and color palette I created the designs for 30+ screens before handing the project off to the development team. The app’s goal was to help individuals set goals and log their daily and weekly progress in an effort to encourage healthy eating.
After being supplied with a general wireframe I began to create design elements like a scrolling header, background overlays, input fields, various icons, check boxes, progress bars, and more.
