SURE SURE

Sure Sure is a Los Angeles based experimental pop band. I created the designs below on spec, which was included in a pitch deck presented to the band in 2018. I wanted to create a line that was cohesive, where elements from each design carry over throughout. Color schemes, word bubbles, and hand drawn images are used to link the designs.

Collage T-Shirt Design

The band’s social media is full of collages they have created - for this design I collaged each of the band’s members, an arm, the bands logos, and a doodle. The angles were influenced by existing collages and the “Friends” music video from their 2018 album Sure Sure.

Stacked Glasses T-SHirt Design

Inspired by the lead singer and keyboardist Chris Beachy’s glasses. I drew a mix of sunglasses and eye glasses with the bands name acting as a reflection on each lens.

Pop Art T-Shirt Design

In a number of Sure Sure’s energetic music videos [like “Friends” and “Koreatown”] the band members are seen clapping along with the melody. For this design I drew the clapping hands on a background of experimental characters and added comic book sound effect bubbles to give the design a pop art feel.

Bats Hanging Around T-Shirt Design

Here two bats are agreeing with one another saying the band’s name.
