MEEN MACHINE
Founded in 2018, Meen Machine operates out of Asbury Park, NJ. Referred to as America’s dark horse clothing brand they focus on creating pieces inspired by the Asbury Park that existed before developers, and “best rated” lists. I collaborated closely with the company’s founder to design pieces that are up to date with current street wear fashion while staying true to the company’s roots.
Asbury Hills Hotel Crewneck Sweatshirt Design
This design is a cheeky nod to where Asbury Park came from and to what the company hopes it will never become.
Wave Unstructured Hat Design
Based out of “The City By The Sea” this wave design was done for a limited line of unstructured hats.
Medusa Long Sleeve Shirt Design
Asbury Parks rich history can be found through the city - especially in the Carousel House on ocean avenue. Designed by New York Beaux-Arts architects Whitney Warren & Charles Wetmore the building most famous attributes are the oxidized copper windows featuring Medusa. This design is a modern rendition of the mythological temptress.
Blood Moon T-Shirt Design
Inspired by the July 27, 2018 Super Blood Moon, these two skeletons are “getting it on” in the moonlight.
High Roller T-Shirt Design
Another landmark building in Asbury Park, the Casino building was also designed by New York Beaux-Arts architects Whitney Warren & Charles Wetmore. Here a high rolling wave is about to crash into the shell of the casino building that we know it as now. The name for this design was a play on gambling and the wave itself.
Springwood T-Shirt Design
Springwood Ave is a street many people who visit Asbury Park refer to as on “other side of the tracks” - for now.

This retro design was inspired by the Wonder Bar, which is located at Fifth and Ocean Ave in Asbury Park, NJ.
